ASTRAELITE GLOBAL · FOR PARTNERS

Understand the Program Before You Represent It

Clear understanding leads to responsible representation.

Before introducing a program to students and families, partners should understand its requirements, processes and support roles. Use current program information, explain what is confirmed and ask the AstraElite team when something needs clarification.

01

Different program types

Understand how the available pathways differ in educational experience, participation requirements and program arrangements.

02

Student eligibility

Review the relevant eligibility requirements before referring a student. A referral does not confirm admission, visa approval or acceptance into a program.

03

Application process

Understand the required documents, application steps and communication channels so families know what to prepare and what happens next.

04

School and placement process

Explain how school and placement arrangements are reviewed and confirmed, including which decisions belong to schools or authorized program organizations.

05

Host family arrangements

Help families understand that homes and routines vary, and explain the applicable placement expectations and local process for concerns.

06

Student support structure

Understand the four support roles and help families reach the appropriate contact. The International Representative supports communication and preparation; the Host Family supports daily home life and cultural adaptation.

07

Program rules

Review the applicable attendance, academic and conduct expectations, and communicate them clearly before participation.

08

Travel procedures

Understand the forms, deadlines and approvals required by the relevant program before advising on independent travel or family visits.

09

Withdrawal and refund principles

Explain that financial responsibilities and refund rights are subject to the student’s signed agreement and applicable program terms. Do not create a separate refund promise.

10

Sponsor and support-team roles

Where a Sponsor is involved, its program authority remains with that Sponsor. The North American Program Team coordinates program communication and follow-up; the Local / Area Representative provides local assessment and first-line support. Partners should not present these roles as interchangeable.

Give students and families clear, responsible information grounded in the program they are considering.

An inquiry starts a review and conversation. It does not establish a partnership or authorize representation.
